This podcast is my favourite Michael Caine Podcast since Heist. It tells the stories about different heroes. I must recommend it.

Excellent and we'll narrated

I listened to another audiobook narrated by Michael Caine. It was a similar type in that it was a series of connected episodes, although the stories were different. His approach in this one is the same in that he introduces and does a little voice over, but most of the stories are taken up with witnesses and participants of the time being interviewed.

Each episode is well constructed, detailed enough without being bloated, salient, clear and interesting. I would listen to the same again with a different set of stories in the same vein. A very good listen.

Inspirational!

These stories reflect the real people we should look up to in life!

Through no choice of their own all these people were thrown into circumstance that demanded a huge amount from them, but they all stepped up to the mark and saved many lives in the process.

There wasn't one episode that wasn't an emotional rollercoaster.

People like these deserve every ounce of respect and admiration they're given - thank you all!

Dramatic and Realistic

It starts off with the Piper Alpha tragedy so really heartbreaking. The school shooter episode actually made me cry but I'm a retired teacher so it hit home. Very moving

EXCELLENT - EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED

As a subject that I have a little experience in, due to work and psychology studies, I was intrigues by this title. I had expected the brilliant delivery by Sir Michael and I was not disappointed - he is truly brilliant as a performer and so very engaging. The script flows and ties the aspects of the story together extremely well and is delivered beautifully. The stories and subjects are similarly very well selected and cleverly avoid the more obvious tales of martial heroism (military, police emergency services etc) in favour of some less obvious but amazing ones.
If I have one complaint it is that I would love there to be more episodes in the series - it really is that good.

Interesting and inspiring

Although each story is about a difficult or scary subject, all the while listening, you feel inspired and hopeful. Which is just an added bonus to Michael Cain’s delivery.

Excellent end to the series

Michael Caine is a superb narrator and I have listened to several of the podcasts and stories he has voiced. This Heroes series was very interesting and at times moving.
