  • #267 - Sadistic Cruelty
    Sep 19 2024

Shakira Spencer was a loving mother-of-two, who lived to be loved and gave it back in spades. But when her “best friend” became her worst enemy, her life no longer became her own, she was reduced to being little more than a slave, and across the weekend Friday 9th to Monday 12th of September 2022 – out of boredom or spite - her so-called friends subjected her to what the judge described as “sadistic cruelty”.

  • #266 - The Fearmonger - Part Two
    Sep 12 2024

This is Part Two of Two of The Fearmonger.

On Monday 4th of November 1985, a three-week spree of rape and murder culminated, as at 9:50pm, a silvery-blue Montego sped north up Park Lane towards Marble Arch, zigzagging like a crazed loon across both lanes at a suicidal 80mph. Inside, two terrified women screamed, as John Steed, the M4 Rapist shot one of his hostages dead. But why did it end this way?

Love this Podcast

Very interesting and love the chatty style of narration! Laugh out loud with the random comments about noisy birds and passing policemen LOL

Wonderful storytelling.

Mike, your podcasts got me through late stages of pregnancy and the healing afterwards.
So informative, atmospheric and also very funny. I think my daughter likes your voice too!

best British true crime podcast

Enjoy the way he tells the story. He remembers the victims and shows them as real people. He does his research and it shows.

Another excellent true crime podcast

Been listening to this podcast for ages and it’s brilliant, interesting and funny. So many crimes in such a small part of London. Well worth a listen and it’s free..have to put up with ads though..

One of the best

This has to be one of the best podcasts out there - our host is extremely knowledgeable and has researched each story fully - some stories are well known but even then he lets us know more details - and then there’s the extra bits the boat, the coots and the cake, just fabulous

Wonderful, interesting stories, well told, but why so many adverts? Spoils it a bit tbh

Just Outstanding

I first came across Murder Mile podcasts on Amazon Music. They are extremely addictive. Michael is so talented and funny- especially on the the Extra Mile. I can’t recommend it enough if you’re a fan of true crime.
