Although i'm a complete poker novice, Dr Simpson's podcast and book covers many subjects that I already have an interest in, namely Mindfulness, intuition, luck and the importance of goal-setting, to name bit a few.
He narrates this in a very easy to listen to manner with short and to the point lessons and suggestions, making this audiobook very approachable.
However you should know that this isn't a podcast that teaches you about the actual poker, more so about your own psychological side of the game, or to paraphraze Dr Simpson, it's about "controlling the aspects of the game that you can control, and not worrying about the things that you can't."
Even if you're not sure if the subject is one for yourself personally I feel that this could only have a great benefit to your game and to many aspects of your life too, for that matter.
I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast from start to finish and shall be starting my journey to World poker domination very shortly.....
