  • Summer Replay | She Did Hot Mess
    Jun 19 2025

There is nothing more relatable than being a hot mess. Especially in 2025 when life seems to run at an endless, marathon pace morning, noon, and night. I've heard a lot of women speak on “having it all” or being a superwoman, and the truth is it’s impossible. And exhausting. Some ball is going to get dropped. It’s knowing which ball is made of plastic, and which is made of porcelain that matters. Hence the hot mess: somewhere in life we all hold a little mess. For Hannah it’s her happy place. It’s taken time, work, and self compassion: she's happiest when she allows herself the mess. How beautiful is that?! This episode gives us permission to embrace the hot mess, to let the plastic ball drop. On a total side note, this episode’s sponsor is Three Dog Night rescue, I just adopted my hunk of meatball Petey dog, and cannot encourage you enough to go check them out at threedognightrescue.com Enjoy!

  • Summer Replay | She Did Breaking
    May 29 2025

This episode resonated so heavily with you all. Breaking is one of the most relatable human experiences. Whether it’s your first love breaking your heart, a friendship falling apart. Hell, it could be a business failing, a partner leaving. A parent, friend, or pet passing away. There is one thing that’s certain in life: pain & hurt is the inevitable side car of humanity. The work isn’t the breaking, the breaking just happens. It’s how you heal the break that matters. The Japanese use the art of Kintsugi to repair breaks in pottery using a lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. The ideology is beautiful: an item can become more beautiful if we work to carefully and thoughtfully piece it back together, making those breaks become a stunning and unique feature of the object. Your breaks are part of your story. Big and small, the way we work to care for ourselves, to piece it all back together to create a more beautiful version of ourselves is what matters. So cheers to breaking, may we all become a stunning masterpiece.
