• What Is Love?
    Jan 18 2017
Love is often confused with other emotions like sexual lust, emotional codependency and immature disempowerment. The attraction that is often experienced between lovers is not love but a temporary biological attraction. Love is the desire to serve another without expectation or reward. Relationships based on the desire to support each other have a strong chance of surviving. Relationships based on need or sex are built on sand.

  • Role Playing
    Jan 18 2017
Most people play a role in relationships, parent, child, victim, abuser, savior, etc. This is due to your fear that if your partner knew who you really are, they would not love you. We also project our fantasy onto our partner and we do not see who they really are. There are masks upon masks until we start being honest and tell each other the truth. We can't disempower ourselves and be authentic. We have to be responsible for our own behavior and happiness.

  • Detachment vs Attachment
    Jan 18 2017
People in relationships need to understand the difference between detachment and attachment. Detachment is the ability to consciously and objectively observe what is happening in the relationship while attachment is the immature disempowerment to your partner. Detachment is desire, while attachment is need. Attachment is codependency and detachment is freedom. When you are attached to your partner, you are afraid. When you are detached, you are confident. It is better to be detached.
