About this listen
Lecture given by Dulal Chandra dasa on July 21st, 2015 at Ananda Ashrama, Saragrahi on Sri Upadesamrta, Part 13 - Verses 5-6
The unique situation of giving in devotional life: "We understand that in this world there is nothing that we have to begin with, so whatever opportunity we have to give what we don't have to someone who doesn't need it, is good for us. We didn't have it to begin with, by some good fortune, we've come in to a position according to our misconception that 'we own this', or that we have something here to actually offer and in offering that we are given the greatest benefit by somebody who had no need for it and owned it in the first place.
