Earlier today we received the news of our Coach Mark Briggs and Sac Republic deciding to part ways so we decided to do a short bonus episode for everyone to talk about it. He was without a doubt, one of the best Republic coaches we've had with a highly notable achievement of taking us to our first-ever US Open Cup Final in 2022! We wish you the best of luck Mark! This week SRFC played two games which resulted in ties (return of the Men's Warehouse sponsorship?) 2-2 vs Monterey Bay (in an unfortunate last minute tie) and a 0-0 tie away at Memphis! Despite winning 1-0 at halftime, we ended up losing 2-1 at San Antonio, although the positive after the match was Sac Republic clinching playoffs! Last Sunday we witnessed one of the best home games of the season as Sac Republic beat first place New Mexico, 4-0!
