Loved listening to Sue Perkins educating me in bite sized chunks about these weird and wonderful animals. Very entertaining and informative and the episode about the bee made me laugh out loud - which was a bit awkward as I was on a plane listening on my headphones!

Great fun but all too brief. Sue Perkins delves into natural history to shine a light onto some familiar, and some less familiar, animals from around the world.

I love Sue Perkins and honestly I enjoy her humour and narration. However, the little "sketches" between information sometimes drag on way too long and sometimes take up most of the running time. I personally would prefer a more information based podcast but each to their own, can't argue with it being free.

Informative but tedious

Had these sitting on my pile go listen to for ages and gotten around to it, great for short walks or drives but it's so hard not to binge them all in one go! The sketches interspersed between Sue's narration can be a little hit or miss but Sue Perkins is always a delight throughout and puts what could be dry factoids out with great warmth and wit. The trouble is, it's only just over 2 hours of listening, I could do another 4!

Plants is also great! Would absolutely love to hear another series on minerals or fungi etc. Not sure if the ship has sailed on it though.

loved it! The format really works. every episode is 12 minutes long, catchy, super informative with sketches inbetween. Love the voice modulation, the script, production. very good if all you want is a light listen.
