When I heard the prologue, I must admit to being puzzled as to its content; the talk of blasphemy and beheading in contemporary England seemed somewhat amiss.

I pushed on and soon found myself understanding the book's context.

Knowing something of Douglas Harding helped, I must admit. I was already aware of this man, and of his writings about having no head; so, it slowly dawned on me that the story was fictional and intended to raise one's awareness - very cleverly - of the same.

I hope to add more to this review once the full length version has been consumed, assuming that I managed to keep my feet in the ground that is...
