An incredibly powerful story and in his own words. Horrifying and compelling. Fair play to Joey- wish him a long, safe, happy future with lots of good luck, he richly deserves his share.

I literally couldn't stop listening. The way in which Joey was groomed and abused was almost unbelievable, his abuser was so calculating and the trauma Joey has been processing since is apparent. It's incredible that he's alive today to tell his story and whilst I don't know him I'm so proud! Heartbreaking story but a story that should most definitely be shared!

How brave and honest Joey is really grips you! Listened in FULL in one sitting!

This podcast is so raw and at times terrifying. My heart goes out to Joseph, what an incredible man. We should all hope we would have his strength and courage should we have faced the same demons as him. Wishing him every bit of luck for the future.

Brutally honest, open and so brave. Thank you so much for sharing this terrible, incredible life story. This should be included in school curriculums everywhere. Hats off to Joseph, his family and the podcast team.

This is stunning!!!

I could not stop listening to this once I started. Hearing it from the mouth of the person who went through it was extremely powerful.

My heart breaks for this family, it’s such a powerful story and hopefully acts as a warning to children today. Really well put together podcast.
