  • Neil Gaiman is one of the world’s most successful authors. And one of the most loved. His works have been adapted for film, TV and the stage. Now two women, a former nanny and a fan, allege he sexually assaulted and abused them while they were in consensual relationships with him. He strenuously denies all the allegations.

very graphic and shocking

This is very very graphic. I know there is a warning, in fact, there are several, but it doesn't prepare you really. I couldn't finish the second episode to be honest. It was a little too much for me. And while some people might read this review and be curious to listen, I just couldn't put my brain through it. It's a shame because it's interesting but just too much for me I'm afraid. well researched and well presented.

Malicious intent

The podcast starts with obvious malicious intent and it goes on doing a proper hatchet job on Neil Gaiman. Maybe he was wrong to carry out relationships with much youger women, but both accounts are of adult women who carried out consensual relationships with him, one with obvious intent of monetization, the other consciensciously playing the mistress part, both not getting what they hoped for and now getting their revenge. And as per how the "journalists" of the podcast formulate their premises... they twist ecerything to desperately prove their point. The first 15 minutes of the podcast are a shameful display of malicious intent from the podcasters.
