Ein unerwartet freundliches Willkommen bereiten ihr Chefi nspektor Markby sowie ihre neue Nachbarin Harriet. Kaum, dass sie sich kennengelernt haben, wird Harriet Opfer eines Unfalls. Meredith selbst ist Zeugin eines Sabotageaktes, der für die Freundin tödlich endet.
