When Jesus wandered around Ancient Israel, He told stories that had meanings. People would come from far and wide to listen to His stories and watch Him perform miracles. The story of the Good Shepherd was one of the many stories told by Jesus.

A day without laughter is a day wasted! Nobody understands every joke. When someone doesn’t “get it”, you can say, “I don’t get it either,” or say, “Do you want me to explain it, or do you want to figure it out on your own?” The most important part of any joke is the pause before giving the ending or punch line.

My Pet Rattlesnake is an interactive story between storyteller and children. Feel free to adlib your own words. Usually, whatever the children say, the storyteller says something different. Do you want to hear about my pet dog, my pet cat, or my pet rattlesnake? (If students respond dog or cat, you say "Sadly, it ran away." And pretend to wipe away the tears from your eyes for several dramatic seconds.)

It is 1620. We Pilgrims do not agree with the Church of England and decide to sail to America which is known as the New World. Ahead of us is a wooden cargo ship with no sails. We see a wooden mayflower carved and painted on the stern or back of the ship. I wonder what the ship is called?
