From book one: Being able to rip the soul out of a creature, store it in a precious gem, and use it to cast spells might make me the most powerful student at the Astra Argent Magical Academy. Only I can’t tell anybody about it. Because it's illegal, and they’ll kill me if they find out. If my whiskey business is going to thrive it's going to take a little magic, all of their skills, a lotta luck, and the help of an enslaved djinn to overcome the odds against them. The risk is high, but the rewards are money, power, women, and revolution. Those are worth dying and killing for, so keep your blades sharp.

Ever since I discovered that I can kill magical creatures, trap their souls in precious gems, and use them to cast spells of my own, I haven’t had a moment’s rest. Through two books he's been funny, handsome, and beaten odds that would have made ordinary men cry like losers. This third book though, I'm telling you, this book is amazing. More of everything you love. Edge-of-your-seat alien battles on fantastic worlds? Win. Smoking hot alien babes who are total 10s? Win. Enough heart and guts from the main character to fill one of my incredible hotels? Win.

Tremendous. Tremendously tremendous. Tremendous in its tremendocity. That is how I would describe book four in the Arena series. I say so. Everyone says so. But mostly, I say so. My best friend, Marc Havak, who I hand-picked to represent the planet Earth in an interstellar gladiatorial competition, has kicked-butt and taken names, as I knew he would. Everyone I pick wins. And they win bigly. But this audiobook, wow, this one is amazing. Intense action with yours truly saving the day and telling these alien losers how much they suck? You're hired.
