They meet an Old St. Nicholas ornament who tells them that in order to return to their normal height, they must talk to the magical Star Angel who resides at the very top of the Christmas Tree - and they must do so before sunrise, when the magic that brings the ornaments to life fades away and will turn them into ornaments as well.

Britt, Dawes, Doc, Matt, and Brad begin the cattle drive from Oklahoma to Clearmont, with the rustlers waiting for the right time to strike.

In Season Two of Powder River, Britt MacMasters has once again put on the badge of United States Marshal and returns to Clearmont, Wyoming after several months away on the trail with his son Chad. There he finds a new Sheriff in town - who doesn't like the idea of a U.S. Marshal living in his jurisdiction but soon calls on the famed Marshal for help when the Sioux attack a stagecoach. A season highlight is a three part episode where General George Custer recruits Chad to scout for him as he heads toward the Little Big Horn, causing Britt to follow in pursuit.

General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna arrives in San Antonio with 6,000 troups and begins to besiege the Alamo for thirteen days. Flying a red flag and playing the El Deguello (cut the throat), Santa Anna signals that no quarter will be given to the defenders. You will be there with David Crockett, Jim Bowie, William Travis, and 16-year-old David Cummings as they fight to the bitter end in this spectacular epic production of one of the worlds most famous battles.

Powder River rolls into its 11th season with an epic two-part adventure called "The Man from Isandlwana", in which a British officer arrives in Clearmont haunted by a terrifying past. Marshal MacMasters and Sheriff Dawes seem besieged by swindlers and land grabbers in "When We Trust" and "An Opinion of Judgment".

Powder River concludes its ninth season with six exciting episodes! Highlights include: "The Shaman" - Parts 1 and 2: Britt and Chad ride with Captain Grant sent out to capture the Chiricahua Apache's shaman, Geronimo, who has been raiding settlers in New Mexico and Northern Mexico. In "Dan's Mountain", Britt and Chad arrive at Dan MacMasters' home in Rancho de la Nación to settle the estate, only to find a local businessman has already claimed it in the two years since the Marshal's death.

In the explosive ninth season of Powder River, Britt and Cheyenne cross the Rio Grande in pursuit of Clegg's Gang, who have taken Levi, Andy, and Laurel prisoner, leading up to a fiery shootout on the streets of Camargo. In Clearmont, Erica is threatened by an outlaw for printing a story about his intimidation of ranchers. He wants a retraction, and threatens to burn the Bugle to the ground if she fails to do so.

Ticonderoga tells the story of Captain William Taylor and his Mohawk scout Degadawidah who are charged to escort Captain Carlton Campbell of the 42nd Highlanders through the dangerous lands of the Huron to Fort Edward, where the British are making plans to march on the French held Ticonderoga. On the journey they meet young orphan Adam Cobbs who receives a baptism by fire in the harsh and bloody wilderness of New York State. Ticonderoga is a musket blasting adventure on the epic scale that The Colonial Radio Theatre has become known for.

In Season 13, Doc wonders if he is too far behind the times when "The New Doctor" arrives in Clearmont. Esther has a strange visitor at the saloon in "Wade Cody", while Dawes decides it's time to ask Erica to marry him in "A Faded Rose". Meanwhile, Levi fears Britt has been pushed to the edge of his sanity in "That Way Madness Lies.” Britt’s past comes back to haunt him in the three-part “This Side of Fury” (guest starring Larry Albert from Imagination Theatre). In Season 12, Vol. 2, big changes come to Clearmont as Millie sells her beloved hotel to none other than Octavia Hudson, while Esther shocks the ladies and upsets the men as she becomes the new owner of the saloon, and quickly finds trouble when she hires a famous French singer to give a concert on the Golden Nugget stage. Meanwhile, Britt must try to keep Andrew Hudson from the gallows in Boston, while Dawes is faced with the loss of Cheyenne, who decides to leave Clearmont.

Power River concludes its 11th season as the evidence in a murder is stacked against Mrs. Hudson. Marshal MacMasters, Doc, and Sheriff Dawes enter "The Valley of No Return" in search of a missing wagon train, and while Cheynne and Laurel make life plans, a life-changing event falls upon Doc and Millie.
