Briarwitch Academy

My name is Dawn Rose. I was the food-scavenger for my group of outcasts in the Fringe - what used to be LA County before the Abnorms and supernaturals turned it into a hellscape. But I never expected to witness a brutal murder-by-magic. Now I've been whisked off to Briarwitch Academy, the place where magic goes to grow. The faculty think I have an ancient untapped power. Yeah, right. Like I'm going to fit in with drunken gnomes and goth pixies.

Going into Briarwitch Academy, I wasn't a big fan of supernaturals. But I learned to appreciate something: Other than their magic and unreasonable attractiveness (seriously, it's not fair), they're not so different than humans. There are good ones and bad ones. Currently, I have a bad one locked away. I'm eager - maybe too eager - to pry some answers out of him. I need to know where my babies were taken. I need to know who's killing people on campus. I need to know who's involved in the shady plots surrounding Briarwitch like a fog.

I've stepped onto an alien world to surrender myself to my nemesis. But my captor isn't what he seems. Becoming his prisoner is the only way to save a friend and get closer to my precious fae babies - my faebies. I don't plan on staying in captivity for long, though, because Faith and Abel need me. The history books lied about the Unseelie Court. Strange things are afoot. War is brewing close to the surface. I might even be able to stop it...or start it, depending on my actions.

One of my guys is lost in the wilderness, and my bestie is a shell of her former self. The threat of war looms heavy over Briarwitch Academy like a rolling fog - we don't know when it will come, only that it's inevitable. I've been tasked with heavy responsibilities, such as helping to raise an army to combat my nemesis; striking an unbreakable pact with the shifty Seelie fae; bringing my werewolf lover boy home.
