Daradawn

Kelsey Cafferty has been dead for seven years, or so her sister Regan believes, until a stranger with a blue flame upon his cheek, identical to the one on her shoulder, shows up on her doorstep. The man, Peter Canterville, tells Regan that he is a mage from Daradawn, chosen by the Power at birth and marked with the blue flame, as is she. Kelsey isn't dead, the man claims; she has become a warrior and fights for Queen Tessa, against the dark mage, Dirkk, a battle they are losing. Regan must come with him through the rift into Daradawn to save his world and her sister, Kelsey.

The Power, granted to the Chosen, is that stands between the dark mage Dirkk and the ravage of Daradawn. Dirkk has not been idle of the seven years the rift has been closed. With the help of Dadaodh, the demon who lives inside the emerald dagger, he is again ready to challenge Queen Tessa for all of Daradawn. To this end he has conjured new dark beings to aid him: fenris’ena, once mountian wolves, now large beasts who hear only his words, and etain’daman, fairie demons with razor-sharp wing edges and poisoned talons.
