Story
I have begun writing to help those who don't already understand Autism. I am very passionate about these topics because I too am on the spectrum and have spent the last 15 years of my life dedicated to working in mental health. For most of my life I just felt like I was different, weird and sometimes unwanted. I didn't understand what was keeping me in misery until I learned about Neurodiversity and how it is simply a 'Different-ability' and not about the stigma of a 'Dis-ability'.

Story
One of the key features of Asperger's Syndrome is difficulty in understanding and interpreting nonverbal communication cues, such as facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice. This can lead to misunderstandings in social interactions and difficulties forming and maintaining relationships. Individuals with Asperger's may also have a tendency to engage in repetitive behaviors or routines, which can provide a sense of comfort and predictability in their lives. Anxiety is a common co-occurring condition in individuals with Asperger's Syndrome.
