Dragons, catgirls, guns, and magic—oh, and the ability to stop time. What more could a modern gal want? Well... If my past would stay locked in a dark corner back on Earth, that'd be nice. Right, there was that one other thing: finding a way home before the world ends. But hey, that's what my mom would call the last step in your five-year plan. The first? Play with magic.

The Apocalypse is on its way to Earth. I don't have time to care. Ironic since I have the ability to stop time, I suppose. Having escaped capture by Ivicka and her dragon, I've barely had time to get used to my new class before the rules change again. Apparently, undead catgirls here can throw bolts of lightning and levitate chunks of earth the size of my mom's old Toyota. They're not even part of the official training dungeon! Still, who hasn't had to annihilate a few undead catgirls on occasion?

Having teleported halfway across the continent, we've finally escaped Ivicka's notice and are free to do something about getting home to Earth. Except none of our options are exactly simple. My attention may be getting slightly diverted by a certain K'tharn. But only a little. It's not my fault Rufka has style, grace, and humor to match. Even as Rufka goes to the Aetherium's capital to rescue her mum, we head to Glimmering Sands. A totally normal resort town, other than the fact it's on an alien planet and is run by a bunch of giant squids known as the M'tari.

You'd think defeating a giant four-armed, catgirl supersoldier would buy you some peace. More like pieces. Sure, I get to spend time with Rufka, but it turns out stopping Ivicka isn't enough to get home. As we continue our quest to find a way to Earth, it's time to get efficient. Or so I'm told. Course Beth likes convoluted plans like I enjoy cuddles with Rufka and Smoulder, so it's not a surprise she's trying to rope me into taking more responsibility.

We're finally scouting out the great Sanctuary cities, magical spaceships big enough to host a dozen New Yorks. We just have to figure out how to turn them on, and we might have a way to save the people of Earth. On top of that, we're ready to hit the world dungeon to kick our power up to the next tier. All in all, things are going great. So, of course, the M'tari declare war on the Aetherium's great sky city, Aethire—the same Aethire that has the world dungeon.

Left for dead by an assassin I called a friend, I wake in the most unlikely of scenarios—stranded more than five hundred years in the past on the world of Akilo. Thankfully, I'm not alone. Smoulder was waiting for me, the little doom-bunny having missed me almost as much as I missed her. Turns out she's been tagging along with a figure straight out of Akilo's legends, the warrior Queen Uthica. While helping said legend with her quest, I thrive under her tutelage, bringing my spells to a whole new level.

There are a million things threatening to set my plans aflame, but it doesn't matter, cause time isn't just on my side, it's under my thumb. I have the ability to reset the entire day, and unlike the weak loops I had before, now I can revert the whole day until I'm satisfied... or the Mana-storm hits Earth. Unfortunately, there's worse waiting for me than an apocalypse—like family. On the plus side, my best friend Sab and I finally meet up, in Paris of all places. We'd both always said we'd go, but I'll admit, I never could've dreamt of the route that led us there.
