Lots of humour and romance
What a rollercoaster story packed with emotion and fun about two friends who have secret feelings towards each other.
The narrators did an amazing job of bringing all the characters to life and I highly recommend this book 💕💕💕

Lauren Gold and DUET style narration to top it off
Totally typical Lauren vibes. Fabulous banter, sexy, friends and family to bond with also made this Lauren gold!
Listening on audible, Erin and Joe duet style nailed the characters and had me laughing from the picnic onwards!
Totally wish that the bookshop existed, cats and bookclub ladies. A fun, flirty terrific friends to lovers romance with the small town vibe i can wander round in my mind all day long.

A complete feel good read
I love friends to lovers (a lot), and Lauren Blakely never fails to disappoint, she plots the best storylines, and gets the best narrators, Best Laid Plans has everything I love in a romance novel. No angst here, just straightforward, sweet, sexy, hot fireman, Gabe, hoping to get it on with his best friend, bookstore owner, Arden. Light, easy, and stress free. A complete feel good read. I loved it. Erin Mallon and Joe Arden are perfect as Arden and Gabe, there is also a bonus interview with the narrators at the end that is well worth listening to.
