Lauren Blakely
About this listen
An updated version of this title was released on 6/3/24. Customer reviews prior to 6/3/24 relate to the prior version.
An all-star production of a brand new standalone romance from #1 NYT Bestselling author Lauren Blakely, performed by a full cast of twelve narrators: Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, with RC Bray, Jason Clarke, Shane East, Christian Fox, Dion Graham, January LaVoy, Erin Mallon, Robin Miles, Savannah Peachwood, and Julia Whelan. This audiobook also includes an exclusive backstage conversation between Andi Arndt & Sebastian York!
The one unbreakable rule in the Man Code is this: no matter how beautiful, smart, and clever she is, do not fall in love with your best friend's woman.
Yeah, so I screwed up big time when I fell for her. I might have let my sin of unrequited love slide, given everything that went down in the last few years, but Lulu just walked back into my life as vibrant as ever.
And the cards are stacked against me once again. We're working together, and the last thing I want to do is mess up her life with a forbidden office romance now that she's finally got the fresh start she deserves.
Trouble is, she's even more irresistible than ever, and this time around I'm not sure any code can hold me back. Even if I stand to lose everything...
Performed by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York as Lulu & Leo

Ginny: Erin Mallon
George: RC Bray
Kingsley: January Lavoy
Cameron: Dion Graham
Dean: Shane East
Tripp: Jason Clarke
Noah: Christian Fox
Tabitha: Julia Whelan

Loved it
This Audio book was just the best!! It's definitely one of my favourites. I loved the fact that every character had its own narrator. Absolutely brilliant! It was a joy to listen to.

5 Well Deserved Stars
Well Ms Blakely, you've done it again, but this time, with bells on!!
This is a FANTASTIC audio book, I love the fact that Blakely always takes the listeners into consideration (she is an audio book listener too)
The story is perfect, a second chance romance, and Blakely is the queen of Rom-Com so there is the usual witty one liners and laughs all around.
What is so special about this particular book, is the narration.
A full cast of some of my favourite narrators, all in one book!!
Narration was AMAZING!!!! Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are our MC's but with others like Joe Arden who is hilarious, Erin Mallon, who is like the narrator version of Midas in my opinion, and the stunningly perfect January Lavoy, you have a perfect mix.
Save a credit for this on people, you WON'T be disappointed!!

Cute
Light and easy friends to lovers. No angst, no drama, just pure romance, ooh, and chocolate, lots of chocolate. Leo Hennessy is Lulu’s ex husband’s best friend and he’s been in love with her since forever. Years later when they start working together things start progressing, however, there’s still the ghost of Lulu’s ex haunting them. Wonderfully written, a cute story that works well on audible, especially with Andi Arndt, Sebastian York, along with an additional cast of ten of my favourite narrators. Win win.

I never want to hear an audio book without a full cast again!
This is the first audiobook I have ever heard that has a full cast - all I can say is WOW! This really elevated the book. The story was good, but the performance was what made it. Love love love. I listen to anything these guys narrate.

Loved the full voice cast
All of the narrators did a fantastic job with a funny and touching story.
I loved the story and also the interview and out takes at the end, both of which made me laugh a lot!
More audio books should come with out takes! 😁

I want a full cast for all audiobooks from now on.
Absolutely loved it. Such a sweet story. Leo and Lulu were great together. Kingsley was fantastic, Noah and Ginny were adorable (and erin mallon's aussie accent was awsome).
I really liked Tripps flashback chapter. Also I enjoyed Dean's character.
Another favourite from Lauren Blakely.

This book had a huge cast but it all came together seamlessly. I found it very amusing with a dry humour I don't usually expect from romance fiction

An epic casting
This is my favourite narration ever of an audio book. The full cast came together and delivered this funny, touching and romantic story beautifully.
There were a lot of new narrators for me, stand out being January Lavoy as Kingsley, I was in stitches, she knows how to deliver a line!
In true Lauren Blakely style this book had me laughing, swooning and at times I shed a tear. I won’t forget this one in a hurry and have already listened to some scenes a few times as they made me chuckle.
A word of warning. Don’t Give up chocolate or snacks before reading this book!
