Summary
”Forbidden romance at its sexiest!” - DANIELLE L. JENSEN, author of The Bridge Kingdom
It was supposed to be a quick mission. The only thing quick about it was how rapidly I failed. With only a month left to earn her missing feathers, twenty-year-old Leigh embarks on a trip to Paris to meet her newest project, twenty-five-year-old Jarod Adler, leader of the Parisian Mafia and the worst kind of sinner . . . a Triple.
If Leigh can get Jarod to accomplish a single act of kindness, she stands to win 100 feathers, more than enough to complete her wings and ascend to Elysium, the land of angels. What she doesn’t count on is Jarod's dark charm costing her feathers. She’s dead set on saving him, and he’s dead set on destroying her. Until he realizes destroying her wings is also destroying her heart. A heart he longs to hear beat only for him.
Fans of dark supernatural romance will devour this modern ROMEO & JULIET retelling today.
*Warning: FEATHER deals with dark topics, such as suicide, and contains graphic sex.

Beautiful and heartbreaking!
This book is amazing! The narrator is spectacular and the story is heart wrenchingly beautiful and tragic. I loved Leigh and Jarod and the romance between them is so sweet and wonderful and it gave me all the feels. But be warned this is a Romeo and Juliet retelling so the ending is beyond tragic and I cried so hard. But the story, the world, the writing and the characters are all so beautiful that it is so worth the read. I’m hoping beyond hope that the cliffhanger epilogue means we’ll get to see more of Jarod and Leigh. Also, I’m very excited the sequel will feature Celeste since she was my favourite side character!

Heartbroken
Holy God this book has broken my heart. I’m writing this review sobbing. Never has a book gotten under my skin like this one has. It was beautiful and horrifying and I loved every single second of it. I’m a sucker for a paranormal love story and this one is quite possibly my favourite of all time, despite the ending breaking my heart into tiny little pieces. Leigh was a truly wonderful heroine who you fall in love with almost immediately. Jarod was just wow. I think I’m in love with him. The narrator has to be one of the best I’ve ever heard. Her narration was amazing and her voice for Jarod was flawless. I’ve purchased all three books but I’m not ready to let go of this one yet and so me and my broken heart are off to listen to it again. And again.

Wow!
What a fantastic story I couldn’t stop listening!
I’ve just bought the next two books in the series as I need to know what happens, it’s a bit Romeo and Juliet but tons better!
The narrator is excellent at male and female characters, I loved it.

WOW
This book was suggested to me to read so I put it in my wish list and it sat their for a few months!!! More fool me. I was in a reading slump and nothing that I picked was doing it for me if you are like me I’m one of those people that need to be pulled in with in the first 5-10 mins of a book and this did it I remember a couple of minutes in thinking meh I’m going to read this!!!! Last thought I remember I’ve done all 3 back to back because you need. This is not a stand alone it really should be labelled as a trilogy.
This was my first angel book and what a book. This is up their for me with Suzanne wright writing it’s a book that pulls you in and devours you it has you feeling so many emotions this book has made me cry more than any I have read and it’s broke my heart I couldn’t breathe for the pain my heart was in.
All I can say is read it.

Fall in love with this beauty of a book
narration was superb, the story telling draws you in & makes you fall in love with the main characters. I couldn't stop listening to it. A rollercoaster of emotion & I was in absolute floods of tears at the end & I've not been like that over a book in many many many years! You will fall in love with and love to hate some characters but every single one is written to perfection & their story will captivate you. Can't wait for the next instalment, just can't come soon enough!

Emotionally Traumatic Ending!
Feather is the most intense emotional read I think that I will ever read. My brain can barely concentrate enough to write this review because it is so fried from that ending. WHAT? WHAT WAS THAT?! How could Olivia do that to us? Her loyal readers! I am both emotionally and mentally exhausted and don't think I will ever get over this ending. This book gives your such warm feelings inside it lulls you into a sense of security unlike you've ever known. And then it incinerates your insides whilst completing annihilating your soul from your body.
Leigh is a angel and is only 81 feathers away from ascending to Elysium. She is the kindest, purest soul as she helps people around the world like all angels to gain her feathers for her wings. If she doesn't she'll lose them forever and no longer be immortal. A hopeless romantic she will only marry for love. Until Seraph Asher comes down looking for a mate and Leigh does something she never thought she would do. She chose to help a triple.
Jarod Adler, the mafia boss of Paris is a triple a dark and dangerous man with one of the highest scores in the ranking system. A rank that has never ever in his history of being in the system changed. But Jarod Adler is more than what he appears. Leigh sees this, but will her devotion to helping to save peoples souls mean the corruption of her own? Jarod convinces her to test the boundaries and Leigh finds herself doing things she never thought she would do ever.
Feather is an amazing and my first ever story focused just on Angels but it also one of the most soul destroying stories I have ever read. I am heartbroken, utterly and completely heartbroken. I feel like their is a deep dark void that light will never penetrate. That is how good Olivia's writing is, it sucks your in, gets you invested in the characters like their old friends you've known for years. The audio narration only makes it better! Olivia just has a knack for choosing the right people to voice her characters to help bring her books even more to life.
The other characters in Leigh's life intrigue me so much I am going to need to read their own stories. Celeste's is a must is thankfully out but I would also like to read Muriel's. Throughly enjoyable and one of my favourites of Olivia's.

Oh my Feather
Oh my gosh I loved it. Romeo and Juliet with Angels and what an original concept!
I got this on KU and then added the audio and I am so glad I did as it was beautifully narrated by Holly Fielding. She brought every character trait and emotion to life.
This is a beautiful story, so well written I was floored by how much I loved the main character Leigh. She is a fledgling Angel that earns feathers with every good deed in order to ascend to Elysium. She takes on sinner Jared who is the leader of the Mafia. If she can get him to do a single act of kindness she will receive 100 feathers and complete her wings.
I loved his back story and believe it or not he is a pretty good guy but goes about things in a different way.
The world building is stunning and I loved every minute of Jared and Leigh’s journey.
The ending floored me so I can’t wait to start book 2. Highly recommend 5/5.

So, I've just finished the book and I am struggling to put into words how much I loved this book and how broken I am by the ending. the story is gripping and steamy and heartbreaking and down right amazing. Everyone needs to listen to this, the story is well written and the narration was great.

OH. MY. DAYS.
I am new to the world of audiobooks, but not to the stories of Angels and honestly; this is possibly the best story I’ve read/heard.
A true Romeo & Juliet, but possibly even more beautiful.
I now need to sit in a dark, quiet room to process….
