I’m not a huge fan of PNR but when I read the blurb and the fact that Veronica Eden had written this, I knew I had to listen to the book and at first it took me a little bit to get into but once I hit around the third chapter, I was hooked and I couldn’t stop listening. This book took me on one hell of a ride, I was on the edge of my seat, my jaw to the floor.

Hell Gate is a dark RH PNR and it’s a standalone so you don’t have to read anything before it.

Lily Sloane hasn’t had an easy life so far. She’s been mistreated and neglected while being raised in the system most of her life. She’s been treated and made to believe and think that she’s not worthy of love or wanted by anyone. it’s a lonely existence but one she’s used to. However, her life changes when she meets Valerian, Alder and Matthias. These characters take us on an unforgettable, action-packed, suspenseful, steamy adventure filled with twists and turns.

I loved the characters. Each of the boys had a personality of their own. They were all so different and I loved that.
All different yet all so perfectly connected with Lily. The chemistry between them all was heavy and intense with some top-tier banter that made me laugh and swoon… and the steam in this book? Woah. The author delivered.

So. Much. Steam.

I’m not going to dive in any deeper. I will say that this book took me by surprise. It may have been steamy and dark but it also brought emotion and had me in my feels throughout the story, especially with what Lily had to endure growing up, how she grew up and what she had been through but you can tell it has made her that much stronger, more resilient, mature and made her into the person she is today.

I’m so glad I pushed through the first couple of chapters and stuck with it because this book turned out to be an amazing read and one I think I will come back and revisit! It was perfectly written, easy to follow and understand and once I was into the book a little more the storyline took hold of me and I was addicted and couldn’t put it down.


Highly recommend giving it a read!

When Lily moves to another group home one of the first things they warn her about is the cemetery and the dangers of going there. There is a gate to hell there and the legends are pretty terrifying. However, lessons aren't usually learned the easy way.

Open the gate... if you dare.

Valerian, Mattias, and Alder are summoned to kill the one who opened the gate, but once they are topside things go a little differently than normal. The connection and attraction is undeniable. This story was different from all the other books by Veronica Eden I have read, but don't let that deter you. The story was packed full of drama, angst, and action. It was so good! I loved it! The RH aspect was well done and just what the doctor ordered. It was hot in all the right ways!

I don't want to give any spoilers but if you like fantasy and RH this is the book for you for sure.

An excellent RH romance. I loved that while Lily had her three mates to support and love her, she was fierce and powerful in her own right and by the end turned out to be a total lady boss. I enjoyed the story overall but especially the different relationship dynamics and listening as each bond was formed and strengthened over the course of the story. It was a fantastic experience made better by the excellent narration. I loved that each main character had their own voice and it made it easier to tell them apart and just listen and enjoy.

Wow, this reverse harem paranormal romance grabs your attention right from the start and holds it hostage the entire time. The lead female, Lily, grew up in foster care and it has not been easy for her, and her newest home in Brim Hills should be her last, since she is just biding her time to age out of the system. Nobody has ever been nice to her, so she should have known better when the other girls invited her out after their curfew. That outing opened the door, a door that should have never been opened, because it let out three diabolic and smoking hot demons, Alder, Valerian and Matthias. None of them knew what they were in for, and it was so much more than they were expecting. I enjoyed how everything played out in this book, the fascinating storylines, the non-stop drama and the perfect balance of angst, action, mystery, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance, reverse harem style. The writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Veronica Eden, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride. 

🎧📚🎧 This fabulous multi-cast production is a treat to your ears, and the lineup of talent did an amazing job of bringing the characters and story to life. Isabelle Turner, Evan Henderson, Michael Gallagher and Jeffery Holz are entertaining storytellers and their performance elevates the story to another level. Their character voices are exceptional and I loved how they owned their roles, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Okay, this book started off real good. With a orphan girl, thats all alone in life. Both parents dead and so is one set of her stepparents. And one month before her 18th birthday the new girls from the orphanage Dare her to open the gates of hell as a prank. Little that she knows she did open them, not knowing she had. She ends up meeting 3 men no 3 hot sexy demons of course we all know shes wants them. They 1st want to kill her, but something happens to all 4 of them and now there helping her to come home not really knowing who she really is. Will they find out who she is? What are the men to her? And will she find out why this happened to her? IDK your just going to have read/listen to this book. Its real goo and the narrator's did an awesome job too.

Wow!
I enjoyed this book so much.
Lily is a b@d@$$ and I loved Vale, Matthias and Alder, and the building relationship between them all.
The story was intriguing and captivating. It kept me on the edge of my seat with all the suspense and action.
I have not read or listened to any of the previous books in this series and didn't feel like I missed out on anything so it's a complete standalone. I think I'll go back and read them all because I truly enjoyed this book.

Hell Gate by Veronica Eden is a reverse harem paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Isabelle Turner, Evan Henderson, Michael Gallagher, and Jeffrey Holz. This book is part of the Twisted Legends Collection and can be read as a standalone.

I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Lily, Valerian, Matthias, and Alder. Their relationship had a lot of hurdles, but I couldn't help but root for them.

I loved the bonus content at the end of the audiobook with different scenes in the book from the guy's points of views.

Isabelle, Evan, Michael, and Jeffrey did an amazing job on the narration. They all really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a paranormal romance, reverse harem romance, or supernatural suspense.
