a great audiobook
the narrators were great, loved there voices. It's a great book to listen too, I'm a dark romance reader and like a lot of smut.
For me this was a light story in between books.

Great book!
Can’t believe I took so long to listen to this one, it’s a great hockey book, spice levels high but boy did it take a turn and a half! Wasn’t expecting that!
Troy Duran is one of my favs to listen to and alexis paige was the perfect munroe!

TOXIC
This book was so toxic. I can’t even. I’m sitting here crying over this madness and thinking it’s so romantic. Listen I dunno but I think these authors owe us die hard romance fans therapy money. Cause we sit here romanticising this behaviour and end up with toxic husbands. 🤷🏽♀️🫠😂 I’m sorry but I enjoyed every minute of this book.

Audiobook performance
5/5 for the audiobook performance. I love the dual voices throughout instead of the woman impersonating the man or vice versa

Tame dark romance.
This is brilliant tame dark romance, if you’ve never read dark romance this is a good book to start with. The story line is entertaining and over all it’s wrong well apart from the spices scenes they could have done with some serious editing in my opinion they came across random and unfinished.

Hockey Romance with an unexpected twist
The book explores themes of desire, obsession, and the blurred lines between right and wrong. Whilst the premise of the story was intriguing the ending felt slightly rushed. Narration was in duet and Troy and Alexis did an amazing job.

First time hockey romance
I was recommended this book and I’m happy I took the chance.. first time listening to C.R. Jane.. beautifully written and keeps going.. no dull moments where you think to skip forward.. Loved the narrators.. I’ve heard Troy before but first time for Alexis.. loved loved loved it 😍

A Wild Ride
Loved the first 3/4 of the story but do think Lincoln got a little bit too toxic towards the end and I was rooting for Munroe to stand up to him. Can't help but feel if she wasn't poor then things would have ended very differently and Lincoln was giving me the ick towards the end.
The male narrator was great, the female was good for the majority and I really liked how she changed her voice to sound different between young and older Munroe. She did sometimes sound like she was shouting and there was some background noise in the recordings too at times.
All in all not a bad story. Probably wouldn't recommend it and not going to listen or read the sequals but it was an interesting enough listen.
