Summary
Rule number one for becoming an NHL team’s social media manager: Don’t hook up with the star center in an elevator a week before starting your new job.
Uhh…oops.
Okay, so I already broke the first rule. But just because Noah Blake knows what my "O" face looks like doesn’t mean he’ll ever get to see it again.
This job means the world to me, and I won’t risk it for anything—not even for a hockey captain with a crooked smile, a dangerously talented tongue, and gorgeous blue eyes that make my heart race.
Not even when he shows up at my door to comfort me in the middle of a thunderstorm.
Not even if he’s determined to show me just how incredible we could be together.
Falling for a hockey player was never part of my plan. The only problem is, there’s a little voice in my head that keeps whispering…maybe he’s right.
Tropes in this book:
- Cinnamon roll hero.
- He falls first.
- Reformed player.
- Boy obsessed.
- Forbidden and secret romance.
- Praise and good girl.
Offside Hearts is a contemporary hockey romance loaded with banter, feels, and deliciously spicy steam. It is a complete standalone with a HEA!

•DNF - chapter 17• I'm sorry but no.
DNF, chapter 17 audiobook:
Sorry, but no.
No, no, no, no, no, and once again, no!
started cute and then 𝖉𝖊𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖎𝖔𝖗𝖆𝖙𝖊𝖉 𝖘𝖍𝖆𝖗𝖕𝖊𝖗 than my eyeliner.
and continues to 𝖉𝖊𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖎𝖔𝖗𝖆𝖙𝖊, and it continued until I 𝖈𝖔𝖚𝖑𝖉𝖓'𝖙 𝖙𝖆𝖐𝖊 𝖎𝖙 𝖆𝖓𝖞𝖒𝖔𝖗𝖊.

Who can be in the middle of an 𝖆𝖓𝖝𝖎𝖊𝖙𝖞 𝖆𝖙𝖙𝖆𝖈𝖐, thinking that she's basically going to 𝖉𝖎𝖊 because the elevator suddenly got 𝖉𝖆𝖗𝖐 and made noises as if it were about to 𝖈𝖔𝖑𝖑𝖆𝖕𝖘𝖊, and decide that the only option to get over the 𝖆𝖓𝖝𝖎𝖊𝖙𝖞 𝖆𝖙𝖙𝖆𝖈𝖐 is to 𝖗𝖚𝖇𝖇𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖊𝖑𝖋 𝖉𝖗𝖞 𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖕𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖔𝖓 𝖆 𝖘𝖙𝖗𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖊 𝖌𝖚𝖞 𝖚𝖓𝖙𝖎𝖑 𝖘𝖍𝖊 𝖔𝖗𝖌𝖆𝖘𝖒𝖘?
Come on, I understand it's a fantasy. And I'm not trying to 𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖐-𝖘𝖍𝖆𝖒𝖊, but who in an 𝖆𝖓𝖝𝖎𝖊𝖙𝖞 𝖆𝖙𝖙𝖆𝖈𝖐 initiates 𝖉𝖗𝖞 𝖘𝖊𝖝?
And why, when they meet again, does he have women's thoughts and not men's thoughts? Because only a woman can write about a man who remembers the event like this: one moment he thinks it was one of the 𝖍𝖔𝖙𝖙𝖊𝖘𝖙 𝖆𝖘 𝖋𝖚𝖈𝖐 moments he's ever had in his life, and the next moment it was sweet.
Sweet? Show me one man who 𝖉𝖗𝖞 𝖋𝖚𝖈𝖐𝖊𝖉 and thinks it was a sweet or lovely moment. 𝕰𝖓𝖔𝖚𝖌𝖍 with that!
And one more thing: I 𝖍𝖆𝖙𝖊 that social networks, especially Tiktok, are included in books.
𝕰𝖓𝖔𝖚𝖌𝖍 with it!
In short, I did not survive.

A big snooze
Very boring. DNF. Narrators sound like two robots. Unexciting storyline. Probably one of the worst books in the genre I ever came across.
