I’ve read this book countless times and thought I’d give the audiobook a try and god am I glad I did!! Christian fox is just absolutely perfect for Garret!!!!!!!

I was anxious about this audiobook based on the reviews criticising narrators, but after listening to the whole book, I disagree! Christian Fox is doing excellent job, I would even say it is not much as narration as voice acting. He brings Garrett to life. Lorelei is okay, but requires getting used to her slow tempo. As for the book itself, the book is awesome. The story is hilarious, both characters have real chemistry that you can feel as the story progresses.

I was put off this audiobook by the amount of reviews slating the female narrator, I'm glad I decided to give it a go anyway. Maybe I've just listened to lots of bad narrating but I didn't think she distracted from the story at all, nor put on a performance that could be described as unequal to the male narrator.
The story itself was surprisingly enjoyable, some predictable moments but equally at times you weren't entirely sure which way things were going to go. There were also some humorous parts that had me laughing out loud, so I'd highly recommend giving it a go. I enjoyed this book enough to add the next one to my wish list (admittedly not to purchase just yet), so I'd advise giving it a go if you've listened to the sample or are interested in the synopsis.

I really liked this story. It may have been a bit cliched at times but that’s what you expect if you’re into this genre of romance fiction. Elle Kennedy has a great talent for writing characters that you can warm to and Christian Fox did an excellent job at bringing Garrett’s character to life. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the female narrator. There were times when I thought her narration was going to prove so irritating that I’d have to give up but I hung in til the end. Only just though.

I love this book!! Listened to it a few times now, I love Hannah and garret, the characters are great apart and together,
I love the way Hannah is written, I really like her, why can’t we be friends?!?
There are some sad sections and some hurdles but it wouldn’t be a good romance good without them eh’
This is my fave book of the series….I could spend way more time with Hannah and Garrett, loved it.

Really struggled with the narration at the start but Christian really made up for it! Story gave all the feels which I was needing during an emotional slump.

I really enjoyed this. The bickering and their chemistry was just wonderful. This story had a lot heavier themes then I expected, but I feel like they were handled good, and the fact that the healing process had been going on for so long made it not feel as forced.

The Deal was my first ever Elle Kennedy book… and it will definitely not be my last! I started this book this morning and I genuinely could not stop listening on Audible—completely obsessed! 🎧💘

The banter, the chemistry, the emotional depth—Garrett and Hannah had me hooked from the very first chapter 🥹

Their connection was the perfect mix of flirty, heartfelt, and addictive 🔥

I laughed, I swooned, and now I’m counting down the seconds until I can dive into Logan’s story next 😍

Also… this was my 10th 5-star read in March, and it totally earned every single one of those stars ✨📚
