Summary
The rules were simple. Keep my hands off his daughter and stay out of trouble.
But now I’m stuck with her. There’s only one bed. And well, rules are made to be broken.
I’m the face of professional bull riding—the golden boy. Or at least I was, until it all blew up in my face. Now my agent says I have to clean up my image, so I’m stuck with his ball-busting daughter for the rest of the season as my “full-time supervision.”
But I don’t need a goddamn babysitter, especially one with skin-tight jeans, a sexy smirk, and a mouth she can’t stop running.
A mouth I can’t stop thinking about.
Because Summer isn’t just another conquest. She sees the man behind the mask, and she doesn’t run—she pulls me closer, even when she shouldn’t.
She says this means nothing.
I say this means everything.
She says there are boundaries we shouldn’t cross. That my reputation can’t take any more hits—and neither can her damaged heart.
I say I’m going to steal it anyway.

Not exactly Flawless...
Sebastian York narrates some of his greatest scenes. 😉 Emma Wilder is still up there as one of the greats. The performances were 10/10.
The story itself I really enjoyed but one word has stuck with me throughout the book and it should never have been used in this day and age. Think Lusso and how quickly she took that word, apologised for it and changed it. This audio having been recorded in December 2022, the word should never have been used. For me, it took away something from this book. Even 2 days later.

🌟🌟🌟🌟
I was recommended this book by a book friend and she was not wrong. It a great small town romance. Was easy to listen to with chemistry between them that came through so easy.
I loved it was a bull rider and city girl, love the opposite attracts. Can’t wait for more in the series.

A great series
Rhett is such a multi-layered character all fun-loving and cocky on the outside but full of self-doubt on the inside. Summer doesn’t take his nonsense and I love that! Apparently so does Rhett because after dancing around the idea of keeping things professional they give in and it is passionate and full of messy feelings. This is contemporary romance at its best. It has the homey feel of a small town, the close-knit family of ranchers, the sizzling heat, the emotions to pull on your heartstrings, and just a beautiful style of writing that draws you in and has you invested in these characters from start to finish.
Emma is one of my fave female narrators consistently delivering every time. This was no exception she has us all up in Summer’s business and flits from carefree and joking to emotional and heartbroken. With her ah-mazing male voices, she’s a dream to listen to. Sebastian was perfect for Rhett. Rugged, slightly more mature (in his 30s rather than the young-buck 20s) with a wicked sense of comedic timing. His dry humor was spot on; for me, the funniest thing was the text convos. Loved them so ducking much!!!
It’s been a while since I’ve read a cowboy story, and I loved all the details that Elsie gives us. I felt like I was in the rodeo stands or sitting on top of one of those gnarly bulls. She paints a full picture with her words and it was a delight to listen to it.
So if like me, you’re late and haven’t visited Chestnut Springs yet, change that today. Grab FLAWLESS and get started on this must-read/listen-to series.

Amazing book and even better in audiobook!
This is the first book in a new series by Elsie and it got started with a bang! Everything you could possibly want in a book is in this. Forced proximity, a bit of enemies to lovers and all the feels! Every story I read by Elsie just gets better and better. She is amazing at weaving an intriguing story while making you feel everything the characters do. You never want to put the book down and when it's over you just want more. Rhett and Summer have an immediate connection and how it grows and forms is based in fate. These two wouldn't be able to stay away from each other if they tried. I absolutely adored Summer and her no nonsense attitude, she is exactly what Rhett needs and his growly protectivness will have you flipping the pages for more. Such a great start to this series and I'm itching to see who's story we're getting next because there is more than a few characters I'm really hoping we get! Just phenomenal!
This book is honestly just as amazing if not better in audiobook! Sebastain and Emma bring Rhett and Summer alive! I already loved this story and being able to listen to it on audioboook I think made me love more!

Nice sweet small-town
This was a sweet and swoony read. Small-town meets big city they both have issues and support each other well. Not unnecessary drama. Love Sebastian York so his narration is excellent.

OH MY GOOD LORD
A stunning story with characters you can’t help but fall in love with….
The world woven by Elsie Silver’s words continues to amaze me and this first step into audio is what the book says on the cover: FLAWLESS. This steamy, open, beautiful love story between cocksure, bull riding Rhett and the strong willed, soulful Summer is beyond words and the performances by narrators Emma and Sebastian brought to life the witty banter, the deep rooted longing and the spicy, spicy intimacy in a way that had me swooning. The story between these two enemies turned lovers is poignant and at times utterly devastating, but Silver’s prose unfolds like a thread of gold you desperately stumble along with to unravel, and the narration immerses you into the world of Chestnut Springs in the most magical way!
The characters are developed beautifully, with honest, gut wrenching and spectacular backstories, and while this is a romance at heart, this story advocates for so much more. It advocates for freedom from pasts that hold us prisoner, and for self acceptance and self worth. It advocates for honesty and understanding, and most of all, it advocates for being true to your heart and your happiness.
I have not been able to stop thinking about this book since I finished that final page, so returning to it for a snowy, winters audio listen has been the most incredible experience!
