OMG YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!!!
Violet is so crass its hilarious. She's also the unfortunate stepsister of Buck, a hairy whore of a Yeti, when she's not Jilling off to the milk ad guy, she's chillin at her Junior Accountant job. Her entire life is pretty much centred around Hockey but she refuses to date a player because she's not interested in being one of those puck bunnies. She's not interested in "Skanky Guys"
UNTIL a one night stand leads her into the romantic cross-hairs of one Alex Waters.
He's the Captain of her brothers new NHL hockey team, and has one hell of player reputation- off the ice. If only Violet's carnal lapse in judgement with Alex wasn't so fresh in her mind.. but hey-he IS the guy from the milk ad.
For Alex? She's his Q on a triple word score, and he intends to prove to her that most of the tabloid rumors about him, are exactly that. Rumors. No Waters Hatricks. No Hockey Hookers.
Muffy Newtown did an amazing job on this- the combination of Helenas Humor and her performance gave Violet that essential snark.

A true favourite
I loved reading this on my Kindle so thought I'd try out the audio while driving instead of listening to music. Loved the female narrator as she really brought Vi to life and she gave Alex heart when voicing his dialogue in Vi's chapters. Wasn't such a fan of the guy voicing Alex as all dialogue moved very quickly so seemed a bit rushed. Enjoyed it overall tho as always with Helena's books.

Great start to a new series
Really hilarious at times 😀the super MC had me laughing out loud especially with the added cape😀that said Violet and Alex were charming and the first part of their story had me intrigued right until the end. I've discovered a new author I love which is Always a plus !!!

FAULTLESS ❤️
This book was great. Laugh out loud funny, heartwarming and hot af. I like hockey romances, and this is now in my top 3.
Loved the story, excellent narration, hilarious in parts, and all topped off with a HEA.
So so good. Definitely recommend 👍👍

Violet and Alex forever
This book has everything. A hot hockey player and a slightly awkward girl that suffers from foot in mouth syndrome. The unfiltered comments from Violet make for some laugh out loud moments. I love the narration too, I’ve read the book and having it read to me by two great narrators brings it alive even more. A big fat 5 stars from me.

Ratings dropped with changed male narrator
OMG! Had to download this again and to my horror, the male narrator voice has been changed- spoiler alert; NOT an improvement.
I have no idea why this was done but please, please reverse it and someone please tell this new narrator that he. Should. Pause. Between. Sentences.
He doesn’t read the lines itself too fast, but has no sense of timing and leaves hardly a millisecond between them.
Excuse me while I go dig up my iPod with the previous narrator... 😫

It was ok
If you dont mind the crass talk, which I dont , there are lots of funny moments. Lots of spice too, bit repetitive though.
Unfortunately though, the story is so predictable and boring I struggled to finish it.
Female narrator was good. I actually preferred her male voice to the male narrator. His voice just didnt seem to fit the character of Alex.
