About this listen

Malachi Vize has always had one desire in life. One goal. One deep obsession he could never give up on. His foster sister Olivia. For the first time, she’s chosen him over the entire world, and he intends to keep her in his firm grasp forever – but his happiness is soon shattered by powerful enemies who want to claim Olivia for themselves. He had her. But then he lost her. Wounded and still wrestling with his own demons, Malachi is forced into unexpected alliances to hunt them down, but he won’t stop fighting until he gets her back. No matter what it takes. This story comes with extremely triggering content. Please read the "Content Warning" page.

I was OK with part 1, knowing most of the story, but really loved part 2. Glad I listened to LL.. Grayson Owens really did a great job. Incredible additional casting too.

Cannot recommend this book enough, it's phenomenal. I couldn't get it out of my head.

This book devoured me as much as I devoured it

I've been waiting for the audible version for so long but this new guy just... lacks the intensity Joe Arden put into Malachi's speech... so am I the only one disappointed that it's not Joe voicing Malachi? Anyway, I loved every second of this book

I've never waited so impatiently for a book to get realised

its brillant at the first as it is dirty n flithy then get just over way through and there's drama and a stupid accent its like hunting adaline meets butcher n blackbird

Well performed ending to the Duet... loved the crossover element and can't wait for the wider universe to join the Audible world!

Amazing.

i know there were good reasons for changing the VA reading MMCs parts, but the new guy is just... fine. It's does lack the intensity that the first audiobook had.

Well... I think we all miss old Melachi.

So... I loved Little Stranger, 5 stars, easy. The 60% of this book was okay, I found myself getting bored because I knew what was happening from reading Little Stranger. The last 40% was brilliant! loved it. I was completely hooked.

Loved the full cast narration!

I was so excited for the second book. Absolutely loved the first book 5 ⭐️ but this one just didn’t hit the same. It was ok, but I found myself getting bored, The male narrator just didn’t bring Malachi to life. All in all it was ok.
