Summary

Our love doesn't make sense. But it might be the only thing that saves us.

After the bombshell my father dropped on me, it feels like my whole world is unraveling.

Everything I was brought up to believe has turned out to be a lie, and this life that looks so perfect from the outside is anything but.

There's only one thing that feels real anymore. One thing I can trust.

The Lost Boys are mine. And I'm theirs. No matter what.

This is the final book in the Slateview High series, a reverse harem romance. It contains mature themes and very steamy scenes.

Enjoyed this story

Book 3 was just as good as books 1 and 2. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the characters growing and finding their inner strength. Her parents were awful and while they may be rich, they aren’t worth any substance. Money can’t buy your decent parents.

The narrator was fantastic and gets 5⭐️

Palpitations are inevitable!!!

OH..... MY...... GOODNESS!!!

I've just finished book 3 in the series and I'm blown away! I had to buy each book, one straight after the other! So, as you can imagine, they were hard to put down!!

The story basically follows a rich girl who falls for 3 (yes... 3!!!) bad boys from the wrong side of the tracks and there's several obstacles in the way, including the hatred towards her from the boys (who rule their school and local area) from the very beginning.

Some of the "obstacles" actually had me nervous to the point that I had to pause the story (this happened during book 3), and start again the next day! That's how drawn into the book I had become! Although, it probably helped that I had been in a similar situation to Cora (at times) when dating my now husband... My own personal bad boy lol. It also helped that the narrator did a fantastic job, even without a male for the men's voices....... Lexi Evans did great at bringing you into the "fantasy" (Well done Lexi!).

If you like a dark romance, reversed heiram, HEA, an almost Mafia feel and a little raunchy sex to bring it all together, then this series is definitely a good one to go for! I must admit that the amount of sex is not as much as in the other books of this type that I have read, but I have to admit that I think the scenes are definitely better written in here..... With more description /details to help you imagine exactly what you would feel /see if you were there! This detailing wasn't just during the sex scenes though, but throughout the whole set! For example, you could imagine what Cora was going through as she ran panicking, barefoot over gravel after being shot at! I was definitely impressed!!

Anyway, I hope to see another in the set because I'm dying to see what the boys are like as husbands, dad's and also taking over the "family business"! @EvaAshwood, please, please, please make my wish come true! I'm not ashamed to beg for this if that would persuade you! 🤣💜💖💜

That review was originally from January 2021, actually a long time after I'd listened to the series and now (July 2021) I'm listening to it again. I still would LOVE to know what happens next! Eva, pretty please, with a cherry on the top 😜😁 can we see what comes next? Thanks if you have actually read this review! I love your work! 🥰 Xxx
