About this listen
She’s an innocent.
Caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
My Angel is the one who got away—the only person in the world I love. When she is caught in an unsanctioned bank robbery in my territory, only my reputation protects her.
She should have stayed away.
Instead, she charges back into my life like a shining beacon in my otherwise bleak existence. She has no place in my world where hardened criminals toy with the lives of the innocent.
A better man would let her go—again.
There’s no white picket fence in life with a Bellandi, and she deserves so much more. I pushed her away once, but now that she’s back I won’t let anything else come between us.
Not even Ivory herself.
Bloodied Hands is a full-length standalone novel with dark content. The Bellandi Crime Syndicate Series includes several full-length standalones that can be listened to in any order, but would present a better listening experience following the suggested listening order.

Spicy mafia romance!
Great story and plot, loved the spice but the female narrator wasn't right for this book, hence the lower performance rating. The male narrator was brilliant, but I may read the remaining series via eBook!

simpering and whining
A great story but the female narrator was awful! Such a simpering, whining and pathetic intonation for Ivory's character that ruins the story. Male narrator is better but not sure I'll listen to the rest

Loved it!!
Fantasíc voice acting and fantastic story!! There’s one particular scene I wouldn’t reccomend listening to on the train because oh my gosh!! Matteo is possessive and has picked his woman no matter what - he’s intense but I adore him

Good mafia romance
It’s official, I prefer Adelaide Forest writing much more than fantasy ones. This is a really good mafia romance with a way ott mmc, lots of hot smex, many stupid decisions by the fmc, a dramatic rescue, etc. the fmc is sweet as pie but she does put up with a lot, so be aware that Mateo crosses the line often and some of the things he does are not forgivable at all, yet it works in this f#cked up concept.
The narration was really good too.

Love the books can’t get along with voice characters
Just love these and was so looking forward to listening to them. Just can’t get with either voices doesn’t match them at all. Looking at other books all been done by same voiceovers so I won’t be downloading the others real shame.

It’s the narration
Okay, the plot line is ridiculous, but that’s what we expect from a dark mafia romance. But I had to stop listening after chapter 12 because of the female narrator. Don’t get me wrong, she has a truly lovely pitch and tone of voice, she is made for this kind of voice work, but ... she maybe should listen back to 2 or 3 of her books and recognise how she always DROPS her voice at the end of a sentence. Ok, 10% of the time she doesn’t do it, but mostly, that’s what happens, and it grates over time. So much so that I’ve binned the 3 books in this series.
But honestly, she has a lovely voice. It just needs a little study.
