Story: Ali (h) is a high school student who is being bullied by the football team after writing a newspaper article critical of the funding the team receives in relation to other school sports. In a town where football is king, Ali finds herself seeking help from her cousin, but instead encounters Elijah/Beast (H), a celebrated former outside linebacker. It's instant attraction between the two and Elijah is more than willing to go on the offense in beast mode and take down Ali's bullies. Elijah is her strong overprotective love who'll do whatever it takes to make those responsible pay for the hurt they've previously brought down on her. Very hot, intense sexy relationship between Ali and Elijah with a satisfying HEA in this fun quickie!

Audio: The narrators did a good job with this story. The audiobook uses two narrators, a male narrator, and a female narrator, depending on whose POV the story is being told from - I would have preferred that any dialogue coming from Elijah or Ali, regardless of whose POV, would have been voiced by the male/female as appropriate as I find males trying to voice females and vice versa to take me out of the story. Noel Harrison does a good job with Elijah, and Vivienne LaRue gave Ali a nice tone that seemed age appropriate and had good emotional inflection.

Ali was being bullied at school and went to her cousin for help. When she arrived at his house his best friend and her secret crush, Elijah, answered the door. One look and Elijah knew Ali was his one! It was love at first sight. He helped Ali with her bullying problem, she was his and he wanted to love and protect her forever. Hot, sweet and steamy, Elijah was OTT obsessed with Ali. Their chemistry was amazing, there were very steamy scenes and lots of love. Beautiful story with a wonderful HEA.

When Ali goes to her cousin for help and meets Elijah her his cousin's best friend she asks for help dealing with her school bullies, she gets more help than she ever thought possible. Elijah is a strong protective alpha who falls for Ali as soon as he sees her.
This is an insta love read with plenty of steam.
The duel narration is excellent.

"Beast" aka Elijah was asked by his best friend's younger cousin to help her from getting bullied by her high school football team. She is a senior and 18 so that is ok. It is not really specific on the of him but at least a few years. This short story audio book was interesting in voice whom I liked. Funny and possessive man that he is was good to hear the plays he made on the field. Steamy, 2 hourish read. no cliffhanger.

Three months away from graduation, she couldn't ignore the bullying anymore, when she goes to her estranged cousin for help (town super star with an amazing football record) she is instead found face to face with Elijah her cousin's best friend an ex high school football player that has never been matched and has the nickname 'the beast' he is also her first crush. These two have instant chemistry and she gets a beast alright both in and out of the bedroom.

Super cute, fun and fire hot story with great dual narration.

She decides to ask her cousin, an ex football player for the school for help. But when she turns up at his house, he is away on business and his best friend Elijah is the only one there. She has had a crush on Elijah for years and when he offers to help her instead, she accepts.
Elijah has been waiting for his one and when he sees Ali, he knows she is who he's been waiting for. He will teach the bullies not to mess with his girl and will claim Ali as his own forever.

I enjoyed listening to this story and would recommend it.

This was a really good short book. Ali was being bullied when she wrote an article for the school paper saying that athletic funds should be evenly distributed instead of giving it all to the football team. The local newspaper also printed her story. She was horribly bullied by some of the guys on the team. She goes to her cousin's house and Elijah, her former crush, opened the door. Turns out it was his house. He was obsessed and possessive as soon as he sees her. He agrees to pick her up from school so everyone will see her with him and boy do they (he was a former football star at the school). He gets even with her bullies on the football field. This was my first Olivia T. Turner's book. Elijah and Ali's short novella is fast-paced, passionate, and steamy. Elijah is possessive, alpha, and protective. Ali is beautiful, smart, and determined. This is a sweet Insta-lust/love romance. I liked the extended epilogue. Noel Harrison and Vivienne La Rue did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it.
