I have always found it difficult to comprehend how a mother could be blind to the concerns of her child for the sake of a comfortable lifestyle. Stories like these really grab me in the gut. Cal is a gem. He never gave up until he got to the bottom of what made Andi so fearful. No matter what, he was there for her. The story has some emotional issues that touched my heart. Andi's mother should be honoured that she forgives her. The act she committed against her daughter was not easily forgiven. The experience will certainly never be forgotten by Andi. Fantastic emotional and steamy read. It is beautifully presented by the narrators.
