A Fantastic Civil War Romance. ❤

This is a great story that transported me back to the Civil War with such atmospheric emotions of how brutal and horrific war can be. Living in constant fear of death but fear of being oneself and hiding in plain sight to be oneself. This is a touching beautiful romance that shows that through horror and death, love can blossom in many different ways.
Excellent storyline with good narration and definitely worth checking out.

Really enjoyed listening.

Loved the twist, loved the story, really enjoyed listening. I struggle to find short stories that suit my attention span and interest, but this one delivered.
