This book was dark. I kind of knew who the culprits were as I went through the book. It was tragic no HEA. Wonderfully written. Amazing story and will make you cry.

I read this book from being recommended by BookTok for a book that would break me and leave me heartbroken. This book did well and truly that. I listened to this on audiobook as well as reading it on my kindle and I highly recommend listening to the audiobook whilst reading this as the narrators have done a fantastic job on this one and to hear what the author went through themselves when they wrote this book was truly heartbreaking. This book does not have a HEA but it will leave you completely broken. I did guess the storyline of parts before it had come up however it didn’t ruin the story for me and as much as it was devastating heartbreaking I loved it and couldn’t put it down.

Outstanding! a dark and heartwrenching story, preformed to perfection by Joe Arden and Lee Daniels.
I somewhat keep it together until the last chapter then completely lost it at the authors note.
Hats off to Ariel enduring her own battle and bringing us this masterpiece.

what an amazing audio the narrators are so good you feel like your actually in the room with them

I hoped all the way through Christian and Elana would find peace and happiness. I don't think I have ever been so upset at an ending. Even so it was a marvellous story and the actors were excellent. The epilogue was also hear rendering. Have tissues handy and be prepared to cry.......often.

I absolutely loved this book so much, the ending had me in tears. This is not a happy ending and take the triggers into consideration. This will take me a while to recover from but can’t wait for the next book.
