Watched by Lexi Lovelock is a sinfully erotic short story that I listened to on audio narrated by Jack Calihan.

This is the first book of Lexi’s that I have listened to and I look forward to trying more of her work in the future. The storyline is from a spectator’s point of view. The story is only 13 pages or 19 Minutes on audio so it gets to the sexual scene quite quickly.

Jack did an amazing job with the narration. I really enjoy his deep voice. I found it perfect for Jose the security guard. I look forward to listening to more of his work in the future.

Wow this may be a very short audiobook but holy cow is it hot!! This is down and dirty. Loved it. I definitely want more from this author. Jack has a wonderful voice.

This was a great steam filled short. Shorts are great for one fun packed scene. This one has some heat filled voyerism to warm you on a rainy night.

Narration was great- I can't get enough of Jack's voice. So deep and tempting. Great job!

Lexi Lovelock got this right, starting at the beginning.

Jack Calihan was the Perfect narrator for the part. He did an AMAZING, EXTRAORDINARY, ONE OF A KIND PERFORMANCE in this very short book with a lot of Punch! I enjoy Jack as a narrator, because he really gets into the character.

This short story is for adults 18+ who can handle sexual undertones.

Watched is an explicit short story by Lexi Lovelock.

When writing erotica it can be tricky to create a scene that has broad appeal, because everyone's tastes are different.

For me, this book was a turn off. I prefer erotica to feel *erotic*, but this had none of the sensuality or finesse that would have made it so much sexier. The biggest issue was the writing. So many phrases were repetitive, word choices were often jarring, cliched, or ridiculous, and every syllable of the dialogue from the woman could have been lifted from a sleazy adult film.

As a woman, I just didn't find it realistic, and as a reader it wasn't compelling. How the voyeuristic security guard could determine the intimate grooming regimen of 'the blonde woman's boyfriend' from such a distance away I've no idea, but it was just one of the unfortunate moments that really jerked me out of the story.

It felt like a fantasy written by a man, and not just because the 'male gaze' in the story has a masculine POV. It was tacky, with very little engaging characterisation. A paltry attempt was made to set the couple up as being lovingly infatuated with each other, but it wasn't backed up by their interactions.

When writing a short story you really have to take care to ensure it is exquisitely crafted because there's so little to judge it upon that everything has to work and the writing needs to be on point. I was hoping this short story would be 'sinfully erotic' and a brief but wild ride, but it was disappointing.

The only saving grace was the narrator, whose deep, rich voice was perfect for this genre of story. I would definitely listen to other books narrated by Jack Calihan, though I wouldn't listen to other books by Lexi Lovelock unless they were also free.

I'd recommend this book if you are looking for a quick, cheap, gritty thrill and aren't fussed about the writing. It could be useful for someone with a visual impairment, for example, who is looking for something equivalent to audio-described X-rated films.

The narrator has a wonderfully sexy and a very pleasant cadence to his voice. The story was not what I expected. the story is more of a peeping tom type story. It wasn't bad just no back story, just mainly sex. i prefer more of an actual storyline.
