Andreas Galk lives in Northern Germany. He graduated as an archaeologist, worked as a musician and accompanied the tours of some well-known artists from all over the world before he began to write seriously. After starting out as a freelance journalist, Galk initially published short stories and plays, which he continues to direct today. Later, some scientific publications and his young adult novels appeared. “Pädophil”, a novel by Andreas Galk, was published for the first time in 2014 as an exclusive Kindle version. Since 2020, Galk's works have also been published by deepwater media in audio book or radio play format. Awards: With his contribution "Wisteria" in the anthology "Noir 1", Galk is one of the winners of the German "Fantastikpreis" 2019. Galk's play "Fragile - Be careful fragile" was awarded first prize in the "Change in the Family - Family in Transition" competition in 2008 and was made into a film in 2009. In 2014, the Austrian production of his play "Das Camp" (based on the novel "Campkids") won 2 golden birds at the Papageno Award in Salzburg. This was followed by the performance at the Burgtheater in Vienna.
