Ben Mercer is an author, content creator and former professional athlete. As @bcemercer, Ben is mostly active on TikTok where he shares and narrates from books he enjoys, reading live at night on occasion, as well as writing a weekly newsletter (which you should sign up to). Fringes was his first book, detailing a life in rugby and focussing on the 4 years he spent playing in France. It became a #1 Amazon Bestseller and was nominated for William Hill Sports Book of the Year 2020. He followed up with Our Race, detailing the unlikely triumph of the Great Britain 4x100m team at the Athens 2004 Olympics with author Trystan Bevan. Next came Endgame, a handbook for professional athletes navigating career transition. Most recently, Ben's collaborated with Trystan again to release Superstrengths, bringing a concept used in high performance environments to everyone else.
