Dave Vizard is a former award winning newspaper and magazine writer and editor. He has taught journalism and writing at the college level. Each of his murder mysteries is rooted in Michigan and revolves around the exploits of news reporter Nick Steele. If Steele is on the scene, then there's very likely at least one lifeless body nearby. "Murder, so Sweet" is sixth novel, "Murder, Key West Style" is number five, "A Place for Murder" is fourth. "Murder in the Wind is his third Michigan work of fiction. "A Formula for Murder" and "A Grand Murder" are his first two books. Vizard lives with his wife, Barbara, near Lake Huron in Michigan's Thumb region. He is an active member and co-founder of the Huron Area Writers Group, the Thumb Arts Guild, the Historical Society of Caseville, the Pigeon Lions Club, and the Caseville Eagles Club. Vizard is happy to conduct presentations of his works or discuss the writing and editing process in person or by Zoom with book clubs, writer's groups and civic organizations.
