David J. Story, author of The Omega book series, A Jack Davidson, and Shay Lynn Adventure. “The Creation” the first book in the series. I began writing soon after Sharon was struck down in the crosswalk in a Walmart parking lot, while leaving the store on March 23rd, 2020. She remained in a coma until she succumbed to her injuries on July 17th, 2022. This was also during the outbreak of Covid 19. I started writing to occupy my mind and time while trying to cope and deal with Sharon’s injuries and later passing. I have always wanted to write a book and have tried a couple of times in the past. But I just couldn’t get past the first few pages. After Sharon’s accident, I was reading an article about sex trafficking, and it hit me, that is something that needs to be explored. I started doing research and a storyline hit me. So many times, these sex traffickers get off with maybe a slap on the wrist. I thought of a group that would operate outside of the law, and bring justice to the people who took advantage of the weak and innocent. This was the birth of The Omega Group.
