I was born in Finland. At around four, I found myself in India, where I received my sociocultural training in that powerful, diaphanous set of belief systems. India was heaven. I subsequently tried to eke out an existence in two boarding schools in Dorset. What a contrast! I studied English at university and, then, got a dull job … until I decided to live in Italy. Italy struck me as the closest thing to India that I would find in Europe. I returned to the UK and got a job in publishing as an editor and then a manager for a prestigious, as they say, publisher. Over the years, I have had the joy of seeing into the world three lovely children and supporting their growth into the world. In the course of which, I lost interest in only publishing others’ work. And so, I became a teacher and I got more and more into the sheer joy of writing ... I've always been a poet and have written poems throughout my life. I also write children's stories, grammars, and psychotherapy books. I now have a number of unfinished projects which I am finalising, many of which have involved creating and developing new frames of thought and reference.
