DR. DENIZELA DORSEY is highly regarded as a gifted clinical neuro-psychotherapist and author. Her specialty is in identifying the effects and signs of psychological trauma and providing treatment for related disorders using neuropsychology. She is highly proficient in treating related disorders using neuropsychology and is particularly adept in dealing with emotional trauma that affects social development, ranging from chronic to complex. Dorsey has authored six books with Salem Publishing-Xulon Press. Dr. Dorsey conducts seminars and teaches on psychological trauma worldwide. Her newest book is "Your Brain Wears the White Coat: It's in Your Head to Heal Thyself: The Science of the Soul." Apart from her clinical work, she is also an ordained founding pastor who has planted churches and consulted school districts nationwide. She frequently appears on radio stations, podcasts, and virtual lecturers, sharing her latest research. She speaks extensively to organizations, schools, and religious groups on the Human Brain and Trauma Treatment while mentoring other clinicians and graduate students in the mental health field. She has received several civic awards and organizational accolades for her work and accomplishments in mental health and brain work. Dr. Dorsey is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. However, her proudest accomplishment is being a mom of scientists.
