Isabella Harcourt was born and now lives near Southampton with a very large cat called Freddie Witchfinder. She was a finalist in the PRH/Daily Mail First Novel Competition in 2018, and loves to write about interesting people having fantastic adventures! Bella has Tourette’s Syndrome, as does the main character in her children’s book series, Flora Stormer. She hopes that children reading about Flora will see that adventures are for everybody, and having tics will not stop you from having a wonderful life. Bella spends her time writing exciting books, volunteering for the Blue Cross, learning new hobbies and striving to have as many wonderful experiences as possible. She finds that her latest interests always sneak themselves into her writing, so look out for mentions of botany, pirates and magic! She also tries to cameo her cat in every book.
