José Antonio Lucero (Rota, 1988) is a teacher of Social Sciences and Language and Literature in Secondary Education. Graduate in History and Master in Writing from the University of Seville, he collaborates with various digital media as a blogger and YouTuber from his channel La cuna de Halicarnaso, where he combines history, culture and teaching, without losing sight of references to pop culture and mass phenomena. In 2018 he was a finalist for the XXIII Ateneo Joven de Sevilla Novel Prize. In addition to being a historian and professor, Lucero is the author of the novels La vida en un minuto and La madrina de guerra (Ediciones B), and Por qué los primeros emojis se escribían en arcilla, a fun history book for children from 9 years old. His latest novel, La maestra, pays tribute to his profession and vocation, and shows us that a good teacher will always be.
