Dr Junade Ali CEng FIET is a British computer scientist and software engineer. He studied for an MSc degree aged 17 in computer science and later earned a PhD with a thesis focussed on cryptography. By 23 he achieved Chartered Engineer status, the terminal regulatory status for engineers in the UK, and at 27 became the youngest-ever Fellow of a professional engineering institution on record. His background has included working in cybersecurity, critical infrastructure and operations research. “Through the years, Ali became adept at not only software engineering but understanding how software engineers work.
