Best-selling Lifeway Bible Study author Kelly Minter is passionate about women coming to know Jesus Christ through the timeless truths of scripture. Encouraging women along this journey, Kelly speaks, writes and sings throughout the United States and abroad. Growing up in Northern Virginia, Kelly is the oldest of four siblings whose father started a church and pastored it for decades. She has experienced the transformational power of the local church her entire life. The biblical wisdom, relatable stories, quick wit, and deep compassion endear readers to Kelly's teaching style. She simplifies powerful truth and welcomes you into the journey of discovering God alongside her. The latest Bible study is "Esther: Daring Faith for Such a Time as This". Most of her studies come with teaching videos that make a wonderful connection with Bible study groups of all ages. In addition to Bible studies, she has written a memoir of her mission trips to the Amazon jungle titled "Wherever The River Runs". Kelly's latest devotional book "The Blessed Life" dives into Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. Her cookbook "A Place at the Table" captures her life-long love for cooking and gathering, with spiritual encouragement and delicious ideas to bless your dinner table! Kelly started her career in music and has recorded several albums. "Hymns & Hallelujahs" is an acoustic collection of original songs and favorite hymns, some of which are featured on the All Things New teaching videos. She is also passionate about serving the poor and forgotten around the world and is deeply invested in the work of Justice and Mercy International as their work in Brazil, Italy and Moldova. You can join Kelly on the summer Study and Serve trips to host jungle pastors to inspire and encourage their ministries. Kelly lives in Nashville, TN where she enjoys cooking with friends, adoring her nieces and nephews, serving her community and recently completed her MA in Biblical and Theological Studies at Denver Seminary.
