Ken Scholes is the award-winning author of the internationally acclaimed five volume Psalms of Isaak series, published in the US by Tor and over 50 short stories. His short fiction has appeared in various magazines and anthologies for the last twenty years and is collected in three volumes published by Fairwood Press. Scholes has an eclectic background that includes time logged as a soldier, sailor, minister, nonprofit executive, public procurement specialist and label gun repairman. Ken's been a performing musician for over 30 years and gigs alone or with others around the Pacific Northwest. He is also an advocate for people living with mental illness, particularly PTSD, and speaks openly about his experiences with it. Scholes is a native of the Pacific Northwest and makes his home in Cornelius, Oregon with his twin daughters.
