Lance K Ewing is the author behind the Post-Apocalyptic series "Families First" and "Long Road Home." He has earned a reputation for creating characters that mirror real-life people as they grapple with the unknown in a suddenly altered world and is a 5-time Kindle All-Star Award recipient. Lance lives in North Texas with his wife and their three sons—Hudson, Jax, and Hendrix—along with their pets: Ringo, Mini, and Bobo (dogs and a cat). Of English, German, and Irish descent, Lance enjoys spending time outdoors with his family whenever he isn’t working. In their spare time, Lance and his wife love exploring the U.S. National Park system with their boys, having already visited nearly a quarter of all the parks. As for literary influences, his favorites include The Stand, The Road, One Second After, The Alex Cross series, and The Outsiders. His taste in film spans a broad range—from lighthearted comedies and coming-of-age classics like The Sandlot and Stand by Me to grittier, action-driven stories like The Warriors, Rambo, and Surviving the Game. Kendall Ewing is the pen name of Lance K. Ewing, used for his work in coming-of-age fiction.
