Born and educated in the Potteries, Margaret Kaine now lives in Eastbourne. Her short stories have been published widely in women's magazines in the UK, and also in Australia, Norway, South Africa and Ireland. RING OF CLAY, her debut novel, won both the RNA's New Writer's Award in 2002 and the Society of Authors' Sagittarius Prize in 2003. She has written several romantic sagas about life in the Potteries between the 50's and 70's, published by Hodder & Stoughton, and translations include German and French. All are published as ebooks, paperbacks and hardbacks, also Large Print and Audio - cassette and CD. A romantic suspense novel, DANGEROUS DECISIONS, set in the Edwardian era against a more cosmopolitan background was published by Choc Lit, and is available both as a paperback and ebook. Also in Large Print and Audio. Allison & Busby published THE BLACK SILK PURSE, an Edwardian romantic historical novel/mystery, available in hardback, paperback, ebook, Large Print and Audio. A LIFE OF SECRETS, published by Allison & Busby, was released in hardback in January, 2020, with the paperback and ebook due out in June. Hodder & Stoughton brought out a revised edition of Song for a Butterfly with the new title of A DAUGHTER'S HOPE, in April 2020.
