Mariana Rodrigues is a writer and strategic communications professional with nearly two decades of experience in global public health. She has worked closely with private companies, governments and leading non-profits to advocate on key global health and development issues. She is currently the President and owner of Do Collective, a public health focused communications consultancy. Mariana previously served as Managing Director for NY-based strategic communications firm Global Gateway Advisors, and Communications Director for Axios International, where she led stakeholder engagement efforts to increase uptake of innovative healthcare access initiative in low- and middle-income countries. Prior to Axios, she was Vice President at Fleishman-Hillard International Communications. Mariana holds a Master’s degree (MS) in Global Marketing Communications and Advertising from Emerson College (Boston, MA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Public Relations, Spanish and Business from Pennsylvania State University. Originally from Brazil, she is fluent in Portuguese and English, and is proficient in Spanish.
